Applicants must submit an application in line with the procedures and deadlines set out in the University Of London Website

Entry Route 1

Applicants must have the following:

  • A second-class honours bachelor degree in any field or equivalent.
  • Three years’ work experience in a managerial role (within the past five years).

Entry Route 2

If applicants do not have either the academic requirements or the relevant work experience, they can apply via this route and must have the following:

  • Completion of the MBA Preparation Course (MOOC* - this requires approximately 125 hours of study), followed by registering and attempt take two set MBA core modules. This ensure development of the skills to complete the programme successfully.
  • 8 years of working experience

* MOOC

  • Consists of 6 courses. Each course requires 5 hours of study a week. A student can take the first 5 courses together however the final course (Capstone) must be taken after the first 5 courses have been completed. All courses are 4 weeks long but for the Capstone which is 5 weeks in duration.
  • The minimum completion time for the MOOC is 9 weeks. Overall study for the MOOC is approximately 125 hours of study.
  • MOOC costs £39 a month. On completion of the MOOC, and UOL confirming eligibility for Entry Route 2, a student must first attempt 2 MBA core modules in order to progress to the MBA: Strategic Management; and Economics for Managers.

English Requirements

Applicant will meet the English language requirement if they have passed ANY of the following within the last three years:

  • IELTS: at least 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in the written test.
  • TOEFL iBT: at least 92 overall, with 22+ in reading and writing and 20+ in speaking and listening.
  • Pearson Test (Academic): at least 59 overall, with 59+ in reading and writing and 54+ in speaking and listening.
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English.
  • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (grade C or above).
  • Alternatively, you may satisfy the language requirements if you have at least 18 months of education or work experience conducted in English.

To achieve the general MBA, the student will have to pass the following:
