Amity Global Business School, Singapore warmly invites all members of the academic community, students, faculty and alumni to join us at Marina Bay Sands for our fourth annual international research conference in July, 2017. This year’s theme is “the 4C’s to Create Global Organisation” which includes the major elements of Culture, Competitiveness, Commitment, and Co-Existence.

These concepts are central to the goal of achieving steady, sustainable long-term growth in the Asia Pacific region and globally. Amity Global Business School, Singapore, with the support of Amity Education Group, is proud to contribute to research in this field and committed to promoting the work of other researchers that address these important themes.

Culture

This is the basket group for papers related to Human Resources, Consumer Behavior, International Business, Negotiation, and other topics. Fostering greater understanding between peoples and organizations is a vital step in stabilizing the global business environment. The influence of culture on the process of international business cannot be underestimated. Amity Global Business School, Singapore is an institution that nurtures talent to serve business and society.

Competitiveness

Researchers with work related to Finance, Marketing, Research and Development, Business Model Theory, and Competitive Strategy will be welcome to present at the conference. Fair and vibrant competition is the heart of a dynamic economic system. Asia represents one of the most diverse and competitive regional markets on Earth, with a strong mix of home-grown brands and foreign brands competing for the attention of more than 4.4 billion users.

Commitment

This sub-theme speaks to topics such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Strategic Management, and Change Management. A successful business must be long-term in outlook. Research that delineates the benefits of a long-term outlook, or detail best practices to achieve long-term success, are encouraged to submit their work to the journal and present their findings at the international research conference.

Co-Existence

The fourth element of the 4C’s reminds us of the importance of society in the business environment. Research related to Social Business, Entrepreneurship, NGOs, Non-profit or Charity organizations, and the role of transnational governmental organizations in business will be presented under this heading. The world of business does not exist independently of society and government. Studying the interactions between these major institutions and their impact on business is very important for long-term profitability and success.
